Charity Water Bangladesh

Charity Water Bangladesh works to make safe drinking water an ordinary part of daily life — in mosques, madrasas, orphanages, schools and the communities around them.

Working since 2021 to bring safe drinking water to people in need across Bangladesh.

— Who we are

A small team with one practical purpose.

Since 2021, we have been on a mission to bring safe drinking water to people in need. We provide safe water and raise awareness about the importance of clean water. Our goal is to improve people’s health and quality of life.

City Water Purifier is a proud partner of this mission. You can donate a water purifier in the name of your family, organization, or in memory of a loved one. Your donation can help a mosque, madrasa, orphanage, school, college, or any community institution.

When you donate through Charity Water Bangladesh, our experienced team will visit the location, test the water, and install the right water purifier based on the water condition and local needs. We are committed to making every donation effective and long-lasting.

Our mission

To provide safe, accessible drinking water to communities and institutions across Bangladesh — and to care for every water point long after installation day.

Our vision

A Bangladesh where no child, student or family has to choose between unsafe water and no water at all — where a clean glass is simply normal.

— What we believe

Four principles behind every project.

01

Listen first

Work begins with the community — their water source, their daily reality and what they say they actually need.

02

Serve with dignity

People are partners, never subjects. We speak about and photograph communities the way we would want our own families described.

03

Say only what is true

We share what has been done and what is still in progress, without exaggerated numbers or borrowed stories.

04

Build to last

A water point only matters if it still works next year, so training and follow-up are part of every installation.

— Who we serve

Water where people already gather.

Placing a water point at a shared institution means one system can serve hundreds of people every single day.

Mosques

Safe drinking water for worshippers who gather several times a day.

Madrasas & orphanages

Reliable water for students and children living in residential care.

Schools

Clean water that helps students stay healthy and present in class.

Communities

Shared water points serving families across a neighbourhood or village.

— How we work

Five steps we do not skip.

01

Assess the need

We visit the site, talk with local people and understand the current source before proposing anything.

02

Choose the right solution

Purifier, tube well or storage — the answer depends on water quality, groundwater and how many people rely on it.

03

Install with local hands

Installation is carried out with local workers and institution leaders present throughout.

04

Train a caretaker

Someone on site learns how the system works, how to keep it clean and who to call for help.

05

Return and follow up

We check back so small problems are fixed before they become a broken water point.
